TEST SOLVING TECHNIQUES

YÖS is an exam based on test technique. It is required to acquire test solving skills in order to become successful in these exams.

The number of candidates applying for YÖS is gradually increasing every year while the quota is limited. In other words, it becomes more difficult to win that exam every year. In order to overcome this difficulty, the number of net answers of a candidate during the exam should be high.

The reason of failure in exams based on test technique is usually based on manner of approaching to the questions or unfamiliarity to the question styles rather than lack of knowledge. Test experience is one of the most important factors influencing the result of an exam. Good knowledge on test solving technique will substantially ensure getting the desired results.

The knowledge established by hundreds even thousands of questions solved before an exam ensures success for the candidate. Because, each solved question will provide experience for the candidate before the actual exam. With this knowledge, a candidate learns how to approach questions, how to solve them, the methods for solving them, the time he/she should allocate for each question and the points of attention.

The biggest mistake for a candidate aiming to become successful in the YÖS exam is to ignore any question by considering "it is just one question".
